Custom Hand-Decorated Cookie Order Terms

Tabitha's Cookie Jar, Erie, Colorado

Last updated: November 8, 2026

These terms apply to every custom hand-decorated cookie order. Please read them before you pay. When you pay for your order, you are agreeing to these terms.

1. Reserving your date

  • Sending an inquiry does not reserve your date.
  • After I review your request, I'll send you a quote with your total price, your pickup date, and a link to these terms.
  • Your date is reserved once you pay in full. Until then, I may give the date to another customer.
  • Your quote is good for 14 days.

2. Payment

  • Payment in full is required to reserve your date.
  • I accept major credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, and Apple Pay.
  • Your quote shows your total price, including packaging and any short-notice fee. You won't be charged anything that isn't in your quote.

3. If you need to cancel

Every cookie set is made just for you. I take a limited number of orders, and I turn other requests away to hold your date. Cookies made with your theme, names, and colors can't be sold to anyone else. That's why my cancellation rule works like this:

  • 14 days or more before your pickup date: You'll receive a refund of what you paid, minus the cost of any custom work already done and any supplies I bought for your order that I can't use for anything else (such as special cutters, colors, or packaging). I'll send you a list of anything I kept and why.
  • Less than 14 days before your pickup date: Your payment is not refundable. By then your date is held, your supplies are bought, and it's too late for me to fill your spot.
  • Please tell me in writing, by email or text, as soon as your plans change. Your cancellation date is the day I receive your message. I'll stop work on your order when I hear from you.

4. Changes to your order

  • Please ask for changes to quantity, design, or date as early as you can. I'll do my best, but changes depend on my schedule and how far along your order is.
  • If a change affects the price, I'll tell you the new total before I make the change.
  • Reducing your quantity less than 14 days before pickup counts as cancelling those cookies, so the 14-day rule above applies to them.
  • Moving your pickup date depends on my availability.

5. Your design

  • I love seeing your inspiration photos, invitations, and ideas. Each cookie set is my interpretation of your theme, not an exact copy of another decorator's work. By placing an order, you're allowing me creative freedom to bring your ideas together.
  • Design mockups are available on request.
  • Every cookie is decorated by hand, so small differences between cookies are part of what makes them handmade.

6. Colors

  • Colors look different on every screen, and icing colors can't exactly match a printed invitation or a photo.
  • I'll do my best to match your requested colors, but exact color matching can't be guaranteed. A small difference in color is not a reason for a refund.

7. Allergens

  • My cookies contain wheat, eggs, and milk.
  • My cookies are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to state licensure or inspection, and that may also process other common food allergens. I can't guarantee any cookie is free from cross-contact.
  • I do not offer gluten-free cookies.
  • If anyone eating your cookies has a food allergy, please contact me before you order.

8. Pickup

  • Pickup is in Erie, Colorado, typically on Fridays between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. I'll send you the pickup details after you pay. Other times may be possible if we arrange them ahead.
  • If you can't make your pickup time, please let me know before your window so we can find another time.
  • If your order isn't picked up within 3 days after your pickup date and I haven't heard from you, your order is complete and no refund is owed.
  • Once you pick up your cookies, their care is in your hands. I'll give you storage instructions with your order.

9. If I have to cancel

  • If I can't complete your order for any reason, such as illness, a family emergency, equipment failure, or severe weather, I'll tell you as soon as I know.
  • You'll receive a full refund of everything you paid within 10 days. If you'd rather, we can move your order to a new date I have open.
  • My responsibility is limited to refunding what you paid me.

10. Questions or concerns

  • If something isn't right with your order, please contact me within 24 hours of pickup, with photos, so I can make it right where I can.

Corporate Logo Cookie Order Terms

Tabitha's Cookie Jar, Erie, Colorado

Last updated: November 8, 2026

These terms apply to every corporate and printed logo cookie order. They are part of every quote we send. When you approve a quote, you are agreeing to these terms.

1. Quotes and approval

  • Every corporate order starts with a written quote. It lists your cookie sizes and quantities, your design, packaging, pickup, delivery, or shipping, your event date, your total price, and your payment terms.
  • Your quote is good for 14 days.
  • Your order is confirmed when you approve the quote in writing (a reply email saying "approved" is enough) and make any payment the quote asks for at approval.
  • Your order is accepted only on the terms of our quote and these order terms. Different or additional terms in a purchase order, vendor form, or other document from your organization don't apply unless we agree to them in writing. You're welcome to send a purchase order number for your records.

2. Payment

  • Your payment terms are listed in your quote.
  • We accept major credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, and Apple Pay. Approved corporate accounts may request an invoice.
  • Orders needed in less than two weeks may include a rush fee. If it applies, it will be shown in your quote.

3. Your logo and artwork

  • By sending us a logo, photo, or artwork, you confirm that your organization owns it or has permission to use it on cookies.
  • We may send a digital proof before printing. Production starts after you approve it. Please check spelling, dates, and details, because we print what you approve.

4. Colors and printing

  • Edible printing and icing can't exactly match brand colors, Pantone colors, or what you see on a screen. We'll come as close as we can, but an exact color match can't be guaranteed.

5. Changes

  • Please ask for changes to quantity, design, packaging, or date as early as you can. Changes depend on our schedule and how far along your order is.
  • If a change affects the price, we'll send an updated quote before making it.

6. If you need to cancel

Logo cookies are made only for your organization and can't be sold to anyone else. If you need to cancel:

  • Tell us in writing as soon as you can. Your cancellation date is the day we receive your message, and we'll stop work on your order then.
  • We'll refund what you've paid, minus (a) the quoted price of any cookies already baked, printed, decorated, or packaged, and (b) costs already committed to your order that we can't use elsewhere, such as edible print sheets, custom cutters, specialty packaging, tags, stickers, or shipping.
  • We'll send you an itemized list of what was kept and why.
  • If the completed work and committed costs are more than you've paid, we'll invoice the difference.

7. Pickup, delivery, and shipping

  • Pickup is in Erie, Colorado, by appointment.
  • Local delivery is available for qualifying larger orders in the Denver metro area and Northern Colorado. Any delivery fee is in your quote. Someone must be available to receive the cookies at the agreed time and place.
  • Ask us about shipping within Colorado. If shipping is arranged, shipping and packaging costs are in your quote. We do not ship outside Colorado.
  • Responsibility for the cookies passes to you when we hand them to you or your contact, or to the shipping carrier. We pack every order carefully and will help you file a claim with the carrier if a shipment is damaged or lost.
  • Please check your order when it arrives and contact us within 24 hours with photos if anything is wrong.

8. Allergens

  • Our cookies contain wheat, eggs, and milk.
  • Our cookies are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to state licensure or inspection, and that may also process other common food allergens. We can't guarantee any cookie is free from cross-contact.
  • We do not offer gluten-free cookies.
  • If your event includes guests with food allergies, please tell us before ordering. You're responsible for sharing allergen information with your guests.

9. If we have to cancel

  • If we can't complete your order for any reason, such as illness, an emergency, equipment failure, or severe weather, we'll tell you as soon as we know.
  • You'll receive a full refund of everything you paid for cookies we don't deliver, within 10 days. If we can deliver part of your order, you'll pay only for what you receive. If you'd rather, we can move your order to a new date.
  • Our responsibility is limited to refunding what you paid us.
